75-Year-Old Woman BEATEN for not being “Good”

Posted by on Mar 9, 2009 in News

Around the world, every day, women are treated as less than human – as if they are animals, who should not think for themselves or live from their own inner guidance.

Check out this remarkable story.

From the story,

The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, feared by many Saudis, is made up of several thousand religious policemen charged with duties such as enforcing dress codes, prayer times and segregation of the sexes. Under Saudi law, women face many restrictions, including a strict dress code and a ban on driving. Women also need to have a man’s permission to travel.

It’s time the world makes a distinction between goodness and greatness. And it’s time we all rise to greatness.

  1. Ok what is the story of the 75 year old woman who is beaten? Seriously, you people need to stop making things up! Whatever troubles women go through in Saudi Arabia, trust and believe women go through greater troubles in the United States and else wear because they are mentally taught to think they are free when in fact they are not!

  2. May be the Saudi women are still respected in some circle. I actually admire their dressing which is decent especially the married ones. The western dressing somehow makes women be perceived as mere sex objects whose survival and competitiveness depends on how sexy they look. THINK ABOUT IT
