So, a bit more about how I see this adventure of this
exploratory force / think tank going…
I envision us using conference calls, audios, videos, blogs,
forums, etc. to enrich this playground.
We will use contemporary conflicts (read buzzworthy hot topics in the
news, etc.) to heat things up. And we
will use ourselves to enliven and further enrich this conversation and
playground.
The best learning often happens through playing (no risk,
open creativity), teaching/coaching/mentoring (must deepen your understanding
to teach, plus “student” is looking up to you, and you learn from the student),
and creating (bringing forth something that is beautiful, something that will
last, etc.)—and I intend to capitalize on all of these dynamics.
Some of us may even create different kinds of playgrounds
for this material. The next time we
offer this “course,” it will likely be completely different, because everything
is evolving soooo fast! Instead of a
course, it’s an adventure in exploring and creating.
I intend to be very provocative (yet
honoring) with this course… and I’m
going to use Real People’s web sites, conflicts, etc. as material.
I will ask you all to consider suggesting content for
Mind-Shifts and other modules, and even if those modules aren’t clear… begin to
play with them.
